Cloud nine

Cloud nine

The above picture was a shot taken by me during my shooting today. Cute yellow car with the camera attached on the roof.

Finally the day i get to know my exam result. I am very happy for my result this time and YES, my efforts finally paid through haha. I am very happy for my Cosmetic and Perfume module and i am very thankful to Dr Perry Lim together with my peers. Our project was well done and the overall final exam was good too. PR2202 is my very first A+ module ever in NUS haha, i absolutely love it =)

Competition in NUS is very strong as usual and i will just summarise my grades here before i get swamp by my friends digging for the war result. Glad to have secured my A- for Physical chemistry together with Cheekeong. Inorganic and analytical chemistry was kinda expected for the B+ grade base on the hectic competition between the smartass food science and applied chem cohort, good try though. I could have done better for analytical chemistry in my opinion but i couldnt complain much about it now. Horrified by my GEM2901 grade lol, a disgusting B! Thank god i can SU that away, heng ah. I doubt the problem lies with our group project, the final exam paper was damn sucky. Heard that a lot of ppl died for GEM2901, luckily we all can SU that away. Hurray for the SU system.

Overall my result for this semester was an IMPROVEMENT compare to my horrible last sem result lol. I put in so much effort and finally i get to reap what i sow. Life is fair once in a while i guess, haha. Thank god for enduring through this horrible semester and glad that my CAPS didnt drop. Time to work hard for Year 3 and for now i can REALLY enjoy my holidays in peace without any emo clouds over my head. Once again, love you deep deep Dr Perry Lim for that fabulous grade. Call me vainity boy, haha. I am in cloud nine at the moment, once in a while can or not, not like if i score that well for every exams you know. Competition in NUS very stressful you know, let me feel proud and parade around the street once in a while ok. Give other people a chance to celebrate their success once in a while, it's a form of respect, not for the pride of egoism.

I couldnt make it for Yin Ngai's birthday celebration today due to my work. I am acting as a tourist having some food at a kopitiam and we were told to act "surprised" when the yellow car was driving along the pedestrian pathway. Easy cheesecake role, tats one of the most relax role ever haha. Imagine this, i was in a kopitiam and the AP gave us FREE MONEY to buy drinks and allow us to slack in the kopitiam (the auntie took the left over money from me, sob). The weather was freaking hot at that time and we were just slacking our way reading the menu (acting of course as told by the AP) and drinking, while the car drove pass us and we just acted surprise. The pay wasnt as good as i was in Fighting Spider since MDA dont pay the agent as much as MediaCorp, but better than nothing lah. We were suppose to be making for an ad for MDA so it should be on air soon by this year. The camera was able to capture my face lol, hopefully they wont edit it and crop me away lor. If not i will be very sad, haha. Nonetheless a very satisfying experience from the shoot. I will have more chance in the future as told by Daisy and i will be looking forward to my next shooting again.

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going. When a lot of people find it hard to cope for this semester, i find that as an opportunity to excel in time of desperation. It's like everybody is failing and if u can manage to pass that paper, you can be sure that you are one of the best within the cohort in that subject. Oh please, if everybody is failing in that subject it doesnt mean that it is "normal" for you if you also fail that subject. I dont like to be "normal", i love competitions and i love to be unique. And being normal isnt unique at all haha.

Hold me tight across the time, i will embrace this wonderful night as a miracle with a special reason in mind. Truly elated.
