Simplicity is not the opposite of complexity

Life can be as simple as this.
Two plus two equals to four
Two times two the same as before
All dreams will soar,
like never before.
To live in a peaceful countryside,
unbounded by laws.
I wish life can be just that simple.

Life can be as complicated as this.
One plus one is more then two.
Dreams and miracles are never true.
Truth are for fools.
Fools are like jewels.
They are just like a better stone,
craved with better tools.
How can a stone be just that complicated?

Life can never be simple.
At young they just call you naive.
As you grow old things go as if
I like you
or you like me
like coffee and tea,
serve with hot melted cheese.
Simply sweet, simply not me.

Life is meant to be born complicated.
